8 years ago…

8 years ago today I started dating Matt…little did I know then, that would be the day I started dating the love of my life, my very best friend, and my husband. I am so very blessed to call Matt all of those things today- he is amazing and I’m so grateful that God gave me the greatest husband on earth! I love him more and more each day and admire him so much. He’s such a great father to our son and truly loves his family more than anything.

Matt- thank you for finally asking me on that date 8 years ago ;-)

Thank you for being such an incredible example of Christ’s love…I can’t wait for our son to follow in your footsteps. I’m so grateful that Aiden has you to look up to. Thank you for staying true to who you are no matter what. Thank you for how hard you work for us.

Thank you for loving me when I didn’t always love myself, believing me when I didn’t believe in myself, and showing me I can do anything! You have pushed me to be better and helped me accomplish goals that are so important to me. You will never ever let me give up on anything!

Thank you for making me laugh all the time- even when I’m trying to be grumpy and don’t want to crack a smile ;-) you find a way to put one on my face!

Okay so YES- it’s been a while…but I think I have a good excuse :)

I can’t believe he’s finally here- and almost a month old at that! Time has flown by crazy fast! Matt and I are so blessed with our sweet baby boy- he was only 5lbs 13 ounces when he was born but he’s quickly making up for that! :) Life has definitely been crazy but thankfully we’re getting some sleep…not my 8 hours that I’m used to but I can’t complain ;-)

It’s still crazy to Matt and I that we are parents! Who am I kidding…I’m still kind of a kid :) We love it though- definitely can be overwhelming at times with a newborn but wouldn’t trade it for anything! I’m so thankful for my sweet family…Matt is the greatest husband- I don’t know what I would do without him- he’s so helpful and just flat out amazing!

Princess is adjusting well, too :) She’s definitely not used to not being the baby but she’s learning to love Aiden ;-)

I’m so grateful that God has blessed me with my wonderful little family!
