I can’t believe he’s finally here- and almost a month old at that! Time has flown by crazy fast! Matt and I are so blessed with our sweet baby boy- he was only 5lbs 13 ounces when he was born but he’s quickly making up for that! :) Life has definitely been crazy but thankfully we’re getting some sleep…not my 8 hours that I’m used to but I can’t complain ;-)

It’s still crazy to Matt and I that we are parents! Who am I kidding…I’m still kind of a kid :) We love it though- definitely can be overwhelming at times with a newborn but wouldn’t trade it for anything! I’m so thankful for my sweet family…Matt is the greatest husband- I don’t know what I would do without him- he’s so helpful and just flat out amazing!

Princess is adjusting well, too :) She’s definitely not used to not being the baby but she’s learning to love Aiden ;-)

I’m so grateful that God has blessed me with my wonderful little family!

I have lots of pictures to share but for now here are a few more pics. I’ll post more later  for sure….and next time I won’t wait so long to blog!

Crazy Month- Part 2

…so starting where I left off :) After we had our SC trip we headed back to Jax for the Colts game! I posted about that here with pictures :)

Lastly- we celebrated Christmas with our families. We had such a great time and I’m thankful for so many things…My eyes have been thoroughly opened this Christmas season through various ways and I’m incredibly grateful for it.

Here are just a few of our Christmas pics :)

So that’s been our past month in a nutshell! Hopefully now things will calm down and I can not slack off on the blogging!

It’s been a few days…

…since I’ve had a chance to blog! We’ve been hanging out with family and going from one thing to the next. I truly hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and hope everyone got to spend it with the ones they love.

We saw Marley and Me yesterday….such a great movie, but also a tear jerker! Bring your tissues with you!

Today we did some shopping and had dinner with my family.

It’s been a crazy but great few days- more later! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving with their families :) Just thought in honor of today I’d post about some stuff I’m thankful for….

  • My God- He is my rock and I’m always in awe that He loves me unconditionally!
  • My husband- He’s amazing….so selfless and my absolute best friend. I can’t believe I get to be married to him everyday…such an incredible blessing! I love him.
  • The ability to spend this day with our families…so many people can’t and I’m thankful we are able to!
  • Princess…she’s adorable and keeps us laughing all the time with her craziness!
  • Our great friends…love them so much! Real friends are priceless and we’ve got the best!
  • C3…I can’t believe I get to witness this kind of life change on a regular basis. It’s awesome and I’m so grateful to be a part of a community of faith that does what it takes to reach people and be Christ to the world.
  • Being able to adopt a family with C3…can’t wait to meet them!
  • Our country and all those who fight for it!

Now for my silly ones… :)

  • The Office
  • Pecan pie….oh my I love that!
  • Thankful that Matt and I went running this morning…doesn’t make me feel as bad about that pie!
  • My hubby helping me cook everything this morning…he’s amazing!!
  • A car with heated seats… :)
  • Honeybaked ham…yummm…
  • Ok….ALL Thanksgiving food! :)
  • Thankful that we get to go shopping tomorrow…Love black Friday!
  • That we finally got our tickets to the Colts/Jags game in December….GO COLTS!

It’s been a great Thanksgiving…I’m so grateful for so many things, but mostly the amazing people God has placed in our lives.

Happy Turkey Day :)

Crazy Week!

This week has been crazy and it’s not calming down :) We’re going to be eating with both of our families this year… and for some odd reason I volunteered Matt and myself to do all the cooking! ….I have a tendency to get myself into these messes- oh well, we’ll make it fun!

Of course I’m also busy planning for our black Friday shopping! I can’t wait to get the ads on Thursday so we can figure out exactly what we want from where- I love shopping on that day…It’s crazy but that’s what I love so much!

Anyway- I’m a procrastinator and have waited for the last minute to get so much stuff done so I’m off to do that instead of blog :)

Busy Friday

Today has been a long day…

We got up around 7:30am so we could be at the Apple store by 9. Yep, I decided it was worth waiting in line for the new iPhone. :) It ended up being easy and fairly quick though…we only waited for about an hour and I got one! It’s been fun to play with but I have to admit, the main reason I got one was so that Matt could get rid of his go phone and take my old one. There’s not too much of a difference between the two…but the GPS will be nice to have for trips! We have a tendency to get lost sometimes… :)

After that we had to run some errands and then get our passports taken care of. Getting your passports can be a pain when you wait until the last minute, but we’re going to the Bahamas in a few weeks so we needed to get that done ASAP. We are so excited about the trip though!

We then attempted to play golf with my mom and sister…I tried to hit a few, but I mostly made big holes in the ground due to my lack of knowing how to hit! It was still fun driving around the golf cart :)

It’s been great spending time with our families the past couple days. Yesterday we saw our nieces and got to hangout with Matt’s family…it was great to have some quality time with our nieces since we haven’t seen them in almost 4 months!!

Anyway- It’s been a busy Friday and now I’m exhausted so I’m off to relax with my hubby :)
