Happy Halloween!

So we finally got some pictures of Princess in her hot dog costume…pretty hilarious! She’ll probably never wear it again (good thing we paid like $10 for it!) but it was pretty worth it to get these pictures and the video we got! …let me just say…she’s not a fan of wearing stuff, especially not a big bulky hot dog costume :)

Uh-Oh….

I got this joke e-mailed to me this week…I thought it was pretty funny so I wanted to share! 

Rick was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really angry. 
She told him “Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less than 10 seconds, AND IT BETTER BE THERE!”
The next morning Rick got up early and left for work. 
When his wife woke up she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. 
Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, and brought the box back in the house. 
She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. 
Rick has been missing since Friday. 
Please pray for him.

I’m Lovin’ It

I’m lovin’ this weather so much! It’s chilly but I would much rather have it this way than blazing hot like it is most of the year! I can actually break out my long sleeve shirts and jackets :) 

Here’s some other stuff I’m lovin’…

– My amazing husband! He’s always so loving and selfless…

– That Christmas is almost here!! 

– That I actually got a few pictures and a couple videos of Princess in her hotdog costume- so so funny! I will definitely post soon. 

– My great friends :)

– My clean house…we cleaned it last weekend and it’s somehow stayed almost the same….that never happens! 

– The Office…my last post shows why… :) hilarious

– That Halloween is this Friday- I’m so excited about the trick or treaters! We’ve already got our candy…we’re ready!

– Sex God…such a great book.

– C3’s only a few days away…can’t wait to hear more from the Google series. 

– The election is soon…I’m excited to vote :)

– That we had no set plans tonight…we have something going on most nights of the week so to not have anything is great! I love being able to spend time with Matt…

Speaking of- I’m off to hangout with him now :)

Sunday Recap

This weekend has been nonstop! It’s been fun but exhausting…we finally are relaxing tonight :) No nap today so I’m extra tired…

Today at C3 was incredible. We discussed ‘Who do I vote for’ in the new Google series. I love that we are part of a church willing to talk about real stuff we need to know, even if it might make some people uncomfortable…I have so much to say but honestly, Angie said it best when she said:

“If we see ourselves in that list…or see anyone that we love, maybe it’s time to stop desiring for the Government to take from others to solve our problems.  Maybe it’s time to stop taking our freedoms for granted.  Maybe it’s time to vote with our heart and conscience..rather than just our wallet – or even out of protest.  Every time we take a freedom from someone else so that we can feel better ( like allowing millions of babies to be murdered and calling it “choice”) – every time we exchange someone else’s freedom for our own comfort…or out of our own fear, we lose a little more freedom ourselves.”
