I figured I updated everyone on recent events but I needed to share some pics :)

Not sure if I mentioned that Matt and I got to go to Chicago this Summer…while in Chicago the Colts just happen to be having their training camp a couple hours away so we took a little side trip to watch and get some autographs! Imagine my excitement being close enough to take this:

Obviously Matt and I LOVE football…and of course our two fave teams are the Colts and Florida State! Imagine our excitement when we got to go to a Colts game in December and then the FSU bowl game in January. The FSU bowl game was definitely special being it was Bowden’s last game to ever coach. We got to go courtesy of the Bernals who generously gave Barry, Kayleigh, Matt and myself tickets!

They won this game to go 14-0!! It was definitely an exciting close game…I didn’t get many pics during, I was too busy yelling :)

We celebrated NYE in Jacksonville with Barry & Kayleigh…who just so happen to get engaged this Christmas! :) Had to throw that in there…so happy for them!

Anyway- we celebrated in Jax because the bowl game was the next afternoon. We were in our ponchos for a little bit of the game due to the yucky rain! Thankfully it stopped right before the game started. AND thankfully FSU WON! :)

Crazy Month- Part 2

…so starting where I left off :) After we had our SC trip we headed back to Jax for the Colts game! I posted about that here with pictures :)

Lastly- we celebrated Christmas with our families. We had such a great time and I’m thankful for so many things…My eyes have been thoroughly opened this Christmas season through various ways and I’m incredibly grateful for it.

 So that’s been our past month in a nutshell! Hopefully now things will calm down and I can not slack off on the blogging!

Crazy Month- Part 1

This past month has been crazy…I feel like it’s flown by in a blink. Here’s what has been going on in our lives (and my excuse for being a slacker of a blogger this month) :) 

It all started with Thanksgiving which we spent in Jacksonville with family

Today…

Today was great :) We got so much Christmas shopping done! I love getting almost all the shopping done before Thanksgiving. Of course we still have each other to buy for…that always takes a while. 

Today was also great because Matt and I got to spend some quality time together on a date. I love dates with my hubby :) Yesterday was our old dating anniversary…we’ve been together (dating + marriage) for 6 years! I got some pretty roses from Matt yesterday and we went out for dinner and a movie tonight. 

I cannot believe it’s been that long…it’s flown by! I’m so incredibly grateful for Matt in my life. :) I love you so much, babe :)

I’m Lovin’ It

I’m lovin’ this weather so much! It’s chilly but I would much rather have it this way than blazing hot like it is most of the year! I can actually break out my long sleeve shirts and jackets :) 

Here’s some other stuff I’m lovin’…

– My amazing husband! He’s always so loving and selfless…

– That Christmas is almost here!! 

– That I actually got a few pictures and a couple videos of Princess in her hotdog costume- so so funny! I will definitely post soon. 

– My great friends :)

– My clean house…we cleaned it last weekend and it’s somehow stayed almost the same….that never happens! 

– The Office…my last post shows why… :) hilarious

– That Halloween is this Friday- I’m so excited about the trick or treaters! We’ve already got our candy…we’re ready!

– Sex God…such a great book.

– C3’s only a few days away…can’t wait to hear more from the Google series. 

– The election is soon…I’m excited to vote :)

– That we had no set plans tonight…we have something going on most nights of the week so to not have anything is great! I love being able to spend time with Matt…

Speaking of- I’m off to hangout with him now :)
