24!

So yesterday I turned 24…yes… I’m getting old!

I had such a great birthday! Matt made the day very special :) We went to Animal Kingdom during the day and then went to Maggiano’s for dinner…We had never been there before. It was yummyyy and very romantic :)

Then we went to City Walk for a while and walked around, went to some shops, got some dessert…we had a great day! It was exhausting though…it started at 9am and we got home after midnight!

I’m so grateful for my hubby…He always does such a great job of making my birthdays very special. He also spoils me rotten!! He got me a Garmin Forerunner. It’s a GPS watch thing that you wear when you run and it tells you how far you’re going, your pace, your calories burned, heart rate and so much more…. I LOVE it!! I was so excited when he gave it to me! He also got me some clothes and then took me shopping for some more stuff today :) …seriously…he spoils me :)

I’m very grateful for all the phone calls, messages, texts, & comments I got yesterday! I love all my family and friends! :)

Weekend Recap

It’s been a crazy fun weekend! Friday Matt and I went ‘black Friday’ shopping. It was crazy…we’ve done the black Friday shopping thing plenty of times, but this was the first year we went to Wal-Mart…oh boy. That was an experience. I’ve never seen people run to an item because it’s on sale for one dollar off the normal price…people come on…its ONE dollar. 

Anyway…now we’ve got most of our Christmas shopping done- just a few things left :) That’s always a great thing. Saturday we went to see Four Christmases with Barry and Kayleigh…it was hilarious! Seriously one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while…I think everyone should go see it :) 

I won’t talk about the FSU game we watched after the movie….

Anyway…C3 this morning was great…We still haven’t been able to get a hold of our family but hopefully we will soon. I can’t wait to hopefully meet them soon! I’m so excited to hear about everyone’s families and to see the impact being made on so many people’s lives. I especially can’t wait until the 21st when hopefully all the families will join us at C3! 

Well I’m gonna go rest now…Matt and me are both sick :( Hopefully we’ll feel better soon!

Crazy Week!

This week has been crazy and it’s not calming down :) We’re going to be eating with both of our families this year… and for some odd reason I volunteered Matt and myself to do all the cooking! ….I have a tendency to get myself into these messes- oh well, we’ll make it fun!

Of course I’m also busy planning for our black Friday shopping! I can’t wait to get the ads on Thursday so we can figure out exactly what we want from where- I love shopping on that day…It’s crazy but that’s what I love so much! 

Anyway- I’m a procrastinator and have waited for the last minute to get so much stuff done so I’m off to do that instead of blog :)

Sunday Recap

It’s late and I’m exhausted….so here are the highlights of my great Sunday :)

• Sunday morning at C3 was amazing! 
• Met some new people- I love that. 
• Loved the message and was reminded of some things I need to change. 
• 24 came back on…FINALLY! Of course now we have to wait until January to see more….
• The Colt’s won their game…barely…but hey a win is a win! 
• Got to hangout with friends and laugh- a lot! :)
• Knowing we’re almost done Christmas shopping- that makes me so happy!
• Spending the day with Matt :)
• This is from last night but still….FSU winning yesterday!
• Turkey day is so soon…..I can taste all the food now!

Today…

Today was great :) We got so much Christmas shopping done! I love getting almost all the shopping done before Thanksgiving. Of course we still have each other to buy for…that always takes a while. 

Today was also great because Matt and I got to spend some quality time together on a date. I love dates with my hubby :) Yesterday was our old dating anniversary…we’ve been together (dating + marriage) for 6 years! I got some pretty roses from Matt yesterday and we went out for dinner and a movie tonight. 

I cannot believe it’s been that long…it’s flown by! I’m so incredibly grateful for Matt in my life. :) I love you so much, babe :)
