… I lied! I said I would write but we’ve been so busy!
My sister and mom came in town to visit us over the weekend. We hit up Blizzard Beach yesterday- it was so fun! We’ve been to Typhoon Lagoon but never Blizzard Beach…We had a blast.
Today was C3 :) Always an awesome day when it’s started with C3! I loved the message this morning…Pastor hit it right on the money for me. So much of the time I wait for God to move before I do anything…when I know He’s waiting on me to move.
After church we had a flag football game, we started the playoffs today and we won! YAY! Our next game is in 2 weeks since Easter is next week.
I haven’t been feeling super great the past few days either (my other excuse for not blogging!) … Getting a little cold I guess. All I know is, it needs to be gone before Monday- I have way too much to do this week to be sick! Not to mention it gets in the way of my workout schedule which is irritating!
Anyway-
So like I said, my mom and sister are visiting… they brought along their 4 month old puppy…. who ISN’T potty trained! Can I say that again…SHE ISN’T POTTY TRAINED! Now I remember why I didn’t like Princess that much when she was a puppy ;) Their dog has pooped in our house 3 times in 2 days! Seriously…the dog weighs like 6 pounds… how does it even have that much in it?!? Oh well… It’s been a good lesson for me. I keep saying I want another dog- yesterday I told Matt he could mark my words: ” I do not want another dog!!” He was pretty thrilled with that :)
Well I’m exhausted so I’m gonna try to get in a Sunday afternoon nap- those are the best! :)
It’s been a crazy fun weekend! Friday Matt and I went ‘black Friday’ shopping. It was crazy…we’ve done the black Friday shopping thing plenty of times, but this was the first year we went to Wal-Mart…oh boy. That was an experience. I’ve never seen people run to an item because it’s on sale for one dollar off the normal price…people come on…its ONE dollar.
Anyway…now we’ve got most of our Christmas shopping done- just a few things left :) That’s always a great thing. Saturday we went to see Four Christmases with Barry and Kayleigh…it was hilarious! Seriously one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while…I think everyone should go see it :)
I won’t talk about the FSU game we watched after the movie….
Anyway…C3 this morning was great…We still haven’t been able to get a hold of our family but hopefully we will soon. I can’t wait to hopefully meet them soon! I’m so excited to hear about everyone’s families and to see the impact being made on so many people’s lives. I especially can’t wait until the 21st when hopefully all the families will join us at C3!
Well I’m gonna go rest now…Matt and me are both sick :( Hopefully we’ll feel better soon!

Today has been…one of those days…I’m really not feeling well. I just have felt so blah all day. Maybe it’s because it rained a couple times today and that doesn’t really agree with my sinuses all that well…hopefully I’ll feel better tomorrow.
This morning was still amazing! I loved the start of the Hey Jude series and can’t wait to hear more. I love C3 and was reminded today how passionate I am about this community of faith! I am also so grateful for true friends…It’s such a priceless thing to be able to say you have people in your life you know you can count on no matter what. That is something that not too many people can say they have and even if you have just a couple- it’s an incredible blessing!
I also have to say…Powerhouse rocked this morning!! I love the new Berry Blast set…it looks phenomenal. And I was pretty excited about the cotton candy they gave away this morning :) Most importantly the kids seemed to really enjoy it and I think it’s going to be a great series that they learn a lot from. (Also, our actors look pretty hilarious in those crazy costumes!)
More tomorrow- I’m going to go spend time with my amazing husband! :)
P.S.- I hope everyone got a copy of Barbaric Grace…I just finished it this past weekend and it was phenomenal!
…is pretty much what I feel like! But I do have to say that I have the greatest husband ever. He’s been taking care of me the last two days since I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather. He’s awesome and I’m so grateful for him! I love you, babe!
I really need to be resting but have a tendency to have trouble doing that when I know there are things that need to get done. Like I should probably be trying to get some sleep instead of blogging :) So with that said…more tomorrow!
Andrea did an awesome job today while Pastor interviewed her. I think it’s so great that she was able to use her family situation to help others. Who knows how many people heard that today and knew exactly what she was talking about and how she felt. I loved how raw and honest she was about the feelings she had in the past and how she came through them. I love when she said: Don’t let your past define you. That is so true. I think so many live in the past and it holds you back from what God has for your future. So often I see people dwell on their mistakes instead of remembering that God forgives you…He does NOT hold it against you so there’s no need to hold it over yourself. I think the forgive it when you re-live it applies even with yourself.
It was just an awesome Sunday…Sundays at C3 are like that!
I really tried not to think sick thoughts and tried to convince myself that I’m not sick, but that old theory didn’t work…since I’m now sick! I hate all the stuffiness…it makes you not able to breathe, sleep, and it makes eating a chore. I think I’m starting to get better now though…I better be since we leave for vacation tomorrow! :) I’m pretty excited…I’ll be sure to blog some while we’re gone and post pictures!
Saturday was fun…well most Saturdays are! I had some great girl time with Kayleigh again in the afternoon and then went to see a movie with Matt that night. We actually ran into Darrell, Andrea, Bryan, and Gina at the movies and ended up seeing a movie with them! I love running into great friends :)
It was just a great weekend and I’m looking forward to a great vacation with the hubby! :)
Today was a fun day- besides feeling sick. I guess that’s going around right now. I refuse to get sick though because we’re going on vacation next week. Some people say it’s all in your head so maybe I should quit talking about it…
Anyway-
Today was fun…I had breakfast with some great girls at Morning Glories. That place rocks…I think it might be my favorite breakfast place. Matt’s gonna love it. Then we went to dinner and hung out with some more great friends! I do hope I start to feel better tomorrow…oops– not supposed to think about it! :)
Oh boy…this is just rambling now so I better go…need to get some rest (and I love sleeping while it’s raining, so soothing) and possibly start the packing process…Well, I’ll probably procrastinate and just get some rest!
